What is a CASA Pear? A CASA volunteer pear is simply two people who volunteer together.

Why become a CASA Pear? Volunteering can be easier and more meaningful by having someone by your side. Share the experience and memory of standing up for a child who needs support.

Requirements:

  • Must have a big heart and willingness to help

  • Must be 21+

  • Clean background checks

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review documents and conduct interviews with the child, family, and other interested parties. Investigate placement alternatives.

  • Maintain regular contact with the social service worker(s) assigned to the child and family. Attend court proceedings and related meetings.

  • Consult with volunteer coordinators, plan, prepare, and receive evaluation and feedback. Complete monthly updates.
